Sunday - November 23, 2025
Welcome Celebration at the MACC
4:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Kick off El Paso Everywhere with a celebration at the Mexican American Cultural Center (MACC) — El Paso’s newest cultural landmark dedicated to preserving and showcasing Mexican American heritage and the arts.
Enjoy an evening of art, community, and connection as we welcome our expats home, with Mayor Renard Johnson officially extending the city’s warmest welcome and celebrating the spirit of regional collaboration across the Borderplex.
Downtown Tour
6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Experience the heart of downtown El Paso on a guided walking tour featuring iconic hotel bars, signature cocktails, and conversations with local leaders shaping our region. Along the way, enjoy the WinterFest lights, historic landmarks, and the vibrant spirit that defines our city.
Stop 1: El Paso Downtown Visitor Center
Kick off the tour with welcome margaritas and remarks from Brooke Underwood, Executive Director of Visit El Paso, on how her team is showcasing the city’s culture and putting El Paso in the spotlight.
San Jacinto Plaza Walkthrough
Enjoy a guided stroll through San Jacinto Plaza, learn about its history, and take photos under the sparkling WinterFest lights.
Stop 2: Stanton House / Taft-Díaz
Sip a signature cocktail at Taft-Díaz while Joe Gudenrath, Executive Director of the El Paso Downtown Management District, shares how downtown has transformed over the past decade.
Walking Highlight: The Plaza Theatre
Pause outside The Plaza Theatre for a brief story about its rich history and significance as one of El Paso’s most beloved landmarks.
Stop 3: Plaza Hotel / Ámbar Restaurant & Bar
Gather at Ámbar for a cocktail and insights from Tracy Yellen, CEO of the Paso del Norte Community Foundation and Chair of the Downtown Deck Plaza Foundation Board, on the transformative deck plaza project reconnecting our community.
Stop 4: Hotel Paso del Norte / Dome Bar
Close the evening at the Dome Bar with Jacob Pace, El Paso expat and digital media entrepreneur who built Flighthouse into one of TikTok’s largest Gen Z content studios and has earned recognition from Forbes 30 Under 30 and Rolling Stone’s Future 25.

If you’re driving, you may park at 920 S. Santa Fe St. Parking is limited, so drop-off is recommended if possible.
Transportation provided. Ciudad Juarez tours will be in spanish. Passport will be required.
Banco de Alimentos
8:30 am – 10 am
Visit Banco de Alimentos de Ciudad Juarez, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting hunger and improving the quality of life for families in need.
Learn how their programs collect, distribute, and provide nutritious food across the community, while also creating opportunities for volunteerism, social impact, and cross-border collaboration.
BRP Maquiladora Visit
10:20 am – 12:00 pm
Tour BRP, one of Ciudad Juárez’s most advanced manufacturing facilities, and get an inside look at how innovation, automation, and cutting-edge technologies drive the production of world-class recreational vehicles. Learn how BRP’s specialized workforce, integrated engineering, and high-tech operations are shaping the region’s industrial landscape and contributing to the Borderplex’s global competitiveness.
Lunch at Great American Steakhouse
12:30 pm- 2:00 pm
Experience the unique cuisine of Great American Steakhouse while hearing directly from Ciudad Juárez dignitaries.
Over lunch, enjoy a brief discussion of economic development in Juárez’s, from current projects to future opportunities, and highlight the city’s role in driving growth and collaboration across our binational region.
Behind the Scenes with Bravos de Ciudad Juárez
2:30 pm- 4:00 pm
Step inside the world of FC Juarez: Bravos de Ciudad Juárez, the region’s professional Liga MX soccer team, and experience what goes on behind the scenes of a first-division club.
From their commitment to the community to their pursuit of sporting excellence, you’ll gain a unique perspective on how the Bravos embody both performance on the field and impact beyond it.
Museo de Juan Gabriel
4:15 – 5:45 pm
Visit the Museo Juan Gabriel, located in the singer’s former home in Ciudad Juárez, and discover the life and legacy of “El Divo de Juárez.” Explore exhibits and memorabilia that celebrate his music, artistry, and lasting connection to the border community.
Cafe con Corazon: Brewing Big Ideas in the Borderplex
6:30 pm – 9:30 pm
The Borderplex coffee scene is brewing like never before. Warm up with a hot drink while learning from 787 Coffee CEO, Brandon Peña, and a panel of three notable “coffeepreneurs” from across the region.
Held in El Paso, this collaborative event with Borderland Big Ideas (BBI) will showcase their stories and dive into the “big ideas” behind their success, while also giving attendees a hands-on taste of coffee culture through latte art, cupping, and a quick pour-over class.

Advanced Manufacturing and Aerospace Building
8:00 am – 10:00 am
Tour UTEP’s newest state-of-the-art Advanced Manufacturing and Aerospace Center dedicated to advanced manufacturing and aerospace innovation, where students, researchers, and industry partners are shaping the future of high-tech industries and positioning the Borderplex as a leader in these critical industries.
Highway 28 Scenic Bus Ride to Mesilla
10:00 am- 11:00 am
Enjoy the ride from El Paso to Mesilla along the scenic Highway 28 corridor. On board, our guest speaker, Rafael Rovirosa, Director of Operations at Stahmanns Pecans, will offer a unique perspective on the significance of the pecan industry in Southern New Mexico’s economy and share the story behind Stahmanns Pecans — the largest family-owned pecan farm in the United States.
The ranch spans 3,200 acres and operates with more than 168,000 trees that produce millions of pounds of pecans each year. Rafael’s insights will give guests a deeper understanding of this historic ranch’s legacy and its ongoing role in shaping the Mesilla Valley.
Exploring Mesilla

Enjoy lunch at Double Eagle, one of New Mexico’s most historic restaurants, while hearing directly from the Borderplex Alliance about the economic development efforts and policy initiatives shaping our future.

War Eagles Air Museum: Exploring Growth and Innovation in Southern New Mexico

Closing Celebration: An Evening at the Vineyard

We’ll close El Paso Everywhere with a beautiful gathering at a very special vineyard.
Enjoy wine, food, and meaningful conversation, along with a guest speaker and an expat panel highlighting how our expats remain connected to the Borderplex region.
This final celebration is the perfect moment to toast new friendships, shared stories, and the exciting future of El Paso, Juárez, and Las Cruces.
